Summer is about to begin, but since the beginning of April, we have already been able to make the most of a mild Spring in Brittany.  We enjoyed a week's holiday at David's parents' during the April school holidays. And like last year, we were able to leave Julie, Anna and Claire with their grandparents for a couple of days to get away as a couple to celebrate our upcoming 13th wedding anniversary.  We weren't the only ones to enjoy the lovely sunny weather at "Les Sables d'Olonne"! On the agenda (amongst other things) were: eating ice-cream...  ... admiring a sunset... ... and enjoying a boat ride. Back at David's parents', Julie and Anna had become experts at table football ; the one David had in his childhood.  After these holidays, David spent a few days in Switzerland, on a campus in the middle of the countryside, for a meeting with the ministry leaders of Agapé Europe ; a great opportunity to get to know colleagues from all over Europe and to

The last few months for our family have been full of experiences, emotions, learning and meeting new people. From February 13th to 18th, we gathered with our colleagues and their families, from all over France, for Agapé France's annual Staff Conference. What a privilege to be part of such a great team! And this year Julie joined the teenagers for an excellent program, lead by three missionary kids (now adults) from different countries. David's TIC team, usually split between two different cities, were able to pose for a "family photo" :-) . We chose the nearby aquarium of Saint Malo. Besides sharks rubbing shoulde

Here is a photo summary of our adventures since last November. Like every year, Carolyn celebrated her birthday on 30th November. In December, Julie and Anna invited a few friends to discover the Christmas story, decorate gingerbread men and create their own Christmas cards. A new family who recently moved to our town invited us to see their beautiful Christmas decorations. Several weeks of hard work to delight the whole neighbourhood.  Every year in December, our Agapé Rennes team gets together for a Christmas breakfast. A time to celebrate what God has been doing throughout the year, to pray together and to savour the delicious goodies brought by everyone.   This year again, everyone was spoilt at Christmas.  The girls made the most of the holidays to play with the gifts they received.  And David made good use of his new cook's equipment. Julie and Anna enjoyed a horse ride at French Grandma and Grandad's. And we ended the year with a family outing to the ice rink on 31st Dec
