Here's a snapshot of the last few months with the Violleau family. At the end of March, David spent a week in Birmingham, England's second city, working on a project with colleagues from several European countries. Did you know that there are more canals in Birmingham than in Venice? In March, Julie passed her driving test. Parents can now sit in the back! 😃 In April, we started our sabbatical. To start with, David caught up with a few tasks around the house: Chopping and storing wood for the winter... ... trimming the hedges... ... and repotting a few plants. It was nice to spend more time outside. We installed a trampoline in the garden to let off steam after school. It's a real hit! Rail bike trip during the school holidays 🚴🚂: 2 hours of pedalling through the beautiful Breton countryside on a railway track. Great family fun! Our Church hall was full to celebrate Easter. July to October 2024 in pictures

Summer's well and truly over and the temperatures here leave no doubt that autumn is here 🍂😊. So here are a few warm memories of our summer through photos of our family life, our Church life and our ministry with Agapé France. At the beginning of July, we hosted a young Italian girl, who came to France with a group of people from a town twinned with our own. We went to see the Normandy landing beaches and the American cemetery with the group of Italians. Very impressive. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in July! 💞 We started celebrating with a delicious meal, before flying off a few days later for a week in Corsica, just the two of us. We stocked up on wonderful memories. What a privilege! It's a magnificent island. We spent a few days in Lyon with Carolyn's parents at the beginning of August.
