Summer's well and truly over and the temperatures here leave no doubt that autumn is here 🍂😊. So here are a few warm memories of our summer through photos of our family life, our Church life and our ministry with Agapé France. At the beginning of July, we hosted a young Italian girl, who came to France with a group of people from a town twinned with our own. We went to see the Normandy landing beaches and the American cemetery with the group of Italians. Very impressive. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in July! 💞 We started celebrating with a delicious meal, before flying off a few days later for a week in Corsica, just the two of us. We stocked up on wonderful memories. What a privilege! It's a magnificent island. We spent a few days in Lyon with Carolyn's parents at the beginning of August. January-February 2025 in pictures

Here are a few photos illustrating the events that have marked our lives since the end of January. At the end of January, Rennes and the surrounding region experienced the worst flooding in forty years. There was no damage to our home, as we live on high ground, but the surrounding scenery was impressive. Sisterly cinema outing 🥰. A glimpse of a day at the office for David and Carolyn. Heading to the village of Vogüé in the Ardèche for the Agapé France National Retreat. It's a long way from Brittany, but the scenery is magnificent! The National Leadership Team met 2 days before the arrival of our other colleagues. Our families gathered to watch the Jesus film for children . All of Agapé France gets together! Carolyn was a happy member of the worship team. Photo opportunity for the Digital team. And a short break for a magnetic table football game. Thank you, Lord, for all these moments lived in your presence.

March to July 2024 in pictures

Time marches on and yet another school year comes to an end. Here are a few photos of some of the highlights of the last few months for our family and our ministry with Agapé. In March, Claire received a photo album covering the first 10 years of her life. Hours of work went into sorting and formatting these 140 pages. The result is great and reminds us of so many good times we've had together over the last 10 years. We had a great Easter weekend with Carolyn's brother and his wife. Our programme included beautiful celebrations in church for Good Friday and Easter Sunday, climbing trees, crafts and delicious meals. Claire's school opened its doors for their spring exhibition. We admired Claire and her classmates' beautiful creations. During the April school holidays, we enjoyed some spring activities organised in our town, and especially kayaking as a family on the lake.
