A day in Sheffield

On Sunday, we went to the morning service at St Thomas' Crookes in Sheffield, where Carolyn worked 11 years ago as part of her language course. We were then able to catch up with old friends in the afternoon and share about our ministry. We are thankful to the Lord that He opened the doors once again and made it unexpectedly possible to meet these friends in the afternoon.

Here are some photos capturing a few memorable moments of our family and our Agapé France team from the start of spring. At the end of March, the Agapé France Leadership Team met up in Montpellier. We were delighted to take part in an Agapé Campus meeting with students. Beginning of April, the Agapé Rennes team in the process of reviewing the findings of the Agapé France audit. Good Friday service with our Rennes Nord Church. During the April school holidays, the five of us spent a wonderful week in the Alps 😎. Lots of lovely things to see – a treat for the eyes and the heart 😍. We took the car up to an altitude of 1,800 metres to enjoy the snow 🏔️ ⛄ Over the Ascension weekend, we had a lovely romantic weekend in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and on Île d’Yeu. December 2025 - February 2026 in pictures

It’s time to share with you some of the highlights from the past few months in pictures. We were delighted to be together again as a family of five to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. The snow made a welcome appearance here at Christmas and again in early January. We had a great time celebrating our two January birthdays 🥳. 16 and 12 years old! 😲🥰 Claire got a new bike for her birthday 🚴. She loves going on bike rides with her family. We were delighted to be together again mid-February for the wedding of a couple who are friends from our church. Then we went to Toulouse for a few days. It was a great opportunity for Anna to drive her first kilometres under supervised driving! 🚗 Did you know there’s a cable car in Toulouse? For the price of a bus ticket, it lets you avoid the city’s traffic jams and enjoy the view! 🚠 Well-equipped for a visit to a partner church near Toulouse! March-July 2025 in pictures

Here's a snapshot of the last few months with the Violleau family. At the end of March, David spent a week in Birmingham, England's second city, working on a project with colleagues from several European countries. Did you know that there are more canals in Birmingham than in Venice? In March, Julie passed her driving test. Parents can now sit in the back! 😃 In April, we started our sabbatical. To start with, David caught up with a few tasks around the house: Chopping and storing wood for the winter... ... trimming the hedges... ... and repotting a few plants. It was nice to spend more time outside. We installed a trampoline in the garden to let off steam after school. It's a real hit! Rail bike trip during the school holidays 🚴🚂: 2 hours of pedalling through the beautiful Breton countryside on a railway track. Great family fun! Our Church hall was full to celebrate Easter.
