Welcome to the Violleau's

Our little champions took part in a local run called "Tout Betton Court 2015" on 1st February. Julie came 4th out of 67 participants of her age and Anna came 9th out of 42. Well done girls! In February, we visited some of our partners and friends in the East of France. A lovely surprise awaited us: snow!  We were even able to take a walk in the mountains and admire the Mont Blanc from afar.  This year, our annual staff conference took place in the Ardèche area. Every morning, we were priviledged to be led in worship by some of our colleagues with wonderful musical gifts. A great team!  The theme of the conference was "Living Free". We had some good times of teaching, sharing and praying. A great opportunity to grow with the Lord and to catch up with colleagues from all over France. The Ardèche landscapes were a beautiful demonstration of our Creator God's talents. Another surprise on our way back from the Ardèche: snow on the roads... I (David) was also priviled

Claire is growing fast. She is already learning how to read... ... and to pray :-) The joys of a family walk along the canal near our home. Claire likes touring the house on all fours. It's up to us to watch the cupboards... and the bins! Anna likes taking care of her little sister. One year older and a lot of candles for Carolyn! :-) It was a pleasure to have our Agapé Rennes colleagues round again for a Christmas Breakfast. And we were also delighted to wait for the arrival of our neighbours to share the joy of Christmas over a "goûter". At the solicitor's, thankful to be owners of our house! First Christmas for Claire... ... who had fun tearing up some wrapping paper. Anna, future acrobat... ... or a future career in horse-riding perhaps? A few days in the country at Papy and Mamie's for a Christmas out in the fresh air! The five of us spent the last few hours of 2014 together enjoying some home-made nibbles in front of old cartoons from our childhood. And off

Here are the promised photos of our adventures between July and October.  Beginning of July, the whole family set off, by car and then by ferry, on a grand tour of the United Kingdom to visit ministry-partners as well as Carolyn's family.  We almost managed to go all the way round the country! Julie and Anna enjoyed rediscovering British play-parks.  And Claire was delighted to discover them for the first time. Our three beautiful flowers were in their element in the midst of amazing British gardens (here in Scotland) Julie and Anna practising high-jumping.  We were able to spend an afternoon on the East coast, to remind us of Brittany... ... and to sharpen Claire's teeth! At the border between England and Scotland (Carter Bar), the Bagpipe-player we met 4 years ago was still there, and the scenery just as beautiful.  And it is in Scotland that we celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary in style! After England and Scotland, we discovered a little corner of Paradise in the North
