What an adventure it has been for our family and our ministry since the beginning of the year! Here is a photo overview of the highlights of the last 2 months. At the beginning of March, we welcomed Luna to our home for 5 weeks. She is Julie's German penfriend. At the end of May, Julie will go to Germany for 8 weeks with Luna. At the end of March, the Agapé France National Leadership Team met in Brittany for 3 days of spiritual retreat and planning together. Also at the end of March, the Agapé Rennes team had a morning of team building to strengthen our relationships and learn to collaborate in a different and creative way. As a team, we had to prepare a meal with a limited budget and imposed ingredients (1 fruit and 1 cheese in each dish). Carolyn was on the starter team and David on the main course. On Easter Day, our Rennes Nord church had a wonderful open-air celebration with 7 baptisms. There were nearly 200 people, almost half of whom were invited by the baptised. Lots of sun

Here are a few photos to give you an overview of our adventures since November. End of November, David was in Paris at the Centre Evangélique (a large gathering of evangelical church federations and ministry organisations in France) to man the Agapé France stand with a small team. We enjoy leading worship in our Rennes Nord church as a family from time to time. End of November we celebrated another year for Carolyn. In December, Claire worked hard to give her class a presentation on Scotland (where Grandma grew up). The Agapé Rennes team met for our traditional and much appreciated Christmas breakfast. Then we celebrated Christmas in the Vendée with David's family. Back in Rennes, we enjoyed the sound and light show at the town hall, always surprising and different every year. We finished 2022 and started 2023 in good spirits with good friends and good food. And 2023 started with work in our house to replace our old gas boiler with a heat pump. It's time to save energy. Then Ja

Some highlights for our family and ministry since the start of the academic year... Julie turned 15 in September. At the end of September, David spent 3 days in Lisbon, Portugal, working with his Agapé Digital Strategies colleagues from all over Europe (from Armenia to the UK). Our team of all Agapé ministries in Rennes continues to meet every fortnight to pray together. In this photo, a time of prayer for the National Leadership Team of which David is a member. It is currently the school holidays. Anna and Claire spent a week on the farm with Mamie and Papy and enjoyed the nature and the animals. Meanwhile, Julie went to a week-long camp (Music'Art) where around thirty young people, supervised by professional musicians, put on a magnificent show. In the meantime, the parents were able to have some free time to enjoy a nice walk in the forest 🙂. God's goodness is new every morning and we are grateful for every little or big adventure He gives us to experience in His presence.

Here is a overview of our summer. In July, Julie, Anna and Claire wrote and performed a song for David's birthday. It was moving to hear their three beautiful voices. At the end of July, Anna and Claire participated in a week-long horse riding camp organised by the Ligue pour la Lecture de la Bible (Scripture Union in France). Meanwhile, David, Carolyn and Julie went on a camping trip to the nearby Champagne region. The 5 of us then continued our holiday together, including 2 wonderful days at La Flèche Zoo. At the end of August, our Agapé Rennes team had our traditional picnic-and-swim day out to start the new academic year. Mid-September, David spent three days near Paris working with his colleagues of the Agapé France National Leadership Team. On September 16th, Carolyn received her nursing assistant diploma, as well as 3 medals of the best student for 3 different modules. A great reward after a year of intense studies. We are grateful to God for all the good times we had as a f
