This year, Claire joined Julie and Anna to run our local race "Tout Betton Court". All three gave it their all to the finish line. Well done champions! In February, Agapé organised some leisure activities in a center for asylum seekers in Rennes. Carolyn, Anna and Claire enjoyed being part of it and bringing some joy and hope to these children whose future is uncertain. A joyful train trip as a family... ... and enjoying a few days in sunny Lyon. End of February, the Agapé France team gathered in the Ardèche region for our annual Staff Conference. During the gathering, our colleague Trent gave a touching speech to celebrate David's 10th ministry anniversary with Agapé France. Unfortunately, Carolyn had to stay at home with the girls (who were at school) but she deserves to be celebrated all the same for her 10 years of service with Agapé 😊. We give thanks to God for His work in and through our lives during these 10 years. In March, David was in Toulouse to meet Agapé Cam

2019 started just like 2018 ended: playing games! By the way, a resolution for our family this year is to play a game together at least once a week. A modest and realistic goal to ensure a minimum of fun in our life. 😊 January is also THE month for birthdays. Anna turned 9. Claire turned 5. The Agapé Rennes team in action during a digital workshop, sharing online articles to inspire our friends in their spiritual journey. Agapé France Digital Committee gathered to work together for two days in Toulouse. David's team (Digital Strategies), who usually meet behind screens, were able to be together on the same side of the camera. 7 years after our move from Toulouse to Rennes, David was able to enjoy the typical walls of the "pink city" again. Believe it or not, there wasn't any more sun in the South-West than in Brittany! 😞

Here are 10 pictures to share with you some highlights of the end of 2018 for our family. From October 29th to November 1st, David was in Copenhagen, Denmark, to meet other ministry leaders with Agape Europe and collaborate to make Jesus known in Europe. In December, we followed a Bible reading plan every day as a family to discover how the whole Bible talks about Jesus and Christmas. Bonus: after reading and reflecting, we ended each day with a much appreciated creative time! On December 8th, Anna invited some friends for a Christmas Club: Christmas story, singing, making Christmas cards, a game and delicious Christmas biscuits. On December 14th, we had our traditional Christmas breakfast with our Agapé Rennes team. On December 16th, our North Rennes Church had a Christmas service, followed with lunch together and a time of international Christmas Carols prepared by the children and international students. Finally, the year ended with some fun time as a family, in our cosy home and wi

It's amazing how the time has flown by since our last news! We started the summer with the Football World Cup, following the French team as a family and celebrating at the end our World Champions. Mid-July, we visited some friends and ministry partners in the East of France and near Switzerland. We enjoyed discovering the Geneva area and Lake Geneva. Anna accidentally had a swim in the lake as she slipped on a rock. She got a fright but wasn't hurt, thankfully. The view on Lake Geneva from the hills was really beautiful! End of July, we were in Switzerland for Agape Europe Family Gathering, with 1200 colleagues and volunteers from all over Western Europe. The programme included worship, casting vision for the future, workshops... Here, our European director reminds us about our raison d'etre and why we partner with other organisations and churches in each of our countries: "Together we can make Jesus known". As the sessions were in English, we helped translating
