Going back a bit to November... We celebrated Carolyn's birthday as a family...    ... by eating unusual fruit pots to say the least...   ... and a delicious chocolate cake of course! In December, David helped with the sound system for a PULSE evening for young people in Brittany, with worship, teaching and prayer . In December also, our Church organized a Christmas afternoon tea with songs and sketches prepared by the children, and some adults too. Anna played the role of a shepherd with her little sheep.   The Sunday school classes excelled in singing an African Christmas song. Christmas was also the opportunity for us to host a Christmas breakfast for the Agapé Rennes team. And the whole family enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree with its golden star at the top. We all dressed up and joined friends to celebrate the end of 2013 and beginning of 2014. July - October 2013 in pictures

This summer, we spent a week with Carolyn’s family to celebrate her Mum’s 60th Birthday. Basking in the sun, ice-cream, and cool walks in the woods, some of the delights of being on holiday. We then spent ten days with David’s family on their farm and had some lovely day outings... Canoeing – David’s birthday present from his sister which Carolyn was able to enjoy too. A trip to a “Bee Park” – we now know everything there is to know about how bees make their honey. A trip to the sea to use our fishing nets – we caught several little crabs and prawns to the girls’ delight. We also hired a pedal-boat which was good fun. Anna, during a short stop on our way home. Back in Rennes, our team met up for a day at the beach to catch up after the summer and get ready for another year of working together. In September, we celebrated Julie’s 6th Birthday...
